Tour of St. Louis

So we drove straight through the night and made St. Louie by 1030 in the morning and stopped by Greg's buddy's house in town.  Detective John Jones of the St. Louis Police Dept. was an old college friend of his from EKU, and he took us to lunch and a quickie tour of the city.  We ate some damn good BBQ at the TV-famous Pappy's Smokehouse from the show Man vs. Food.  Afterward we rode around the 4th district and saw their Bomb Squad trucks, where John works.  Then we saw Busch Stadium, home of the Cardinals, and then a quick tour of the Anheuser-Busch Clydsdale barns and a beer tasting of their wares.  Can't beat free alcohol!  I was surprised at what a neat, historic and good-looking city St. Louis is.  Definitely a good stop.  Thanks John!.  We may see you on the way back.

PS Redskins were playing in St. Louis at that exact time and we watched it on the big screen in Anheuser-Busch's bar.

Notice the Dalmation sleeping in the hay.
